CPA Manager

McAllen CPA firm currently seeking Full Time CPA Manager, desiring a rewarding career in public accounting. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years experience in public accounting with an emphasis in business and individual tax preparation, and experience supervising staff and reviewing work. Strong accounting / general ledger skills and QuickBooks knowledge required (this position will supervise and review bookkeeping work performed by firm staff). Experience working with foreign national taxation is a plus. The position offers an opportunity for long term growth with our quickly growing firm. Candidate will work across the many facets of public accounting, including tax return preparation and planning, tax research, and consulting.

Competitive compensation depending on experience ($70,000 – $100,000) and benefits package that includes a cafeteria plan with health, vision and dental insurance, as well as retirement plan matching, paid time off.

  • Under Graduate Degree in Accounting
  • CPA Certificate (licensed in Texas)
  • 5-10 Years of Public Accounting / Tax Experience
    • 1040 Individual Returns
    • 1065, 1120-S, 1120 Business Returns
    • Texas Franchise Returns
  • Experience Supervising staff and reviewing work
  • Professional Demeanor
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required

Contract CPA (Remote/Flexible)

McAllen Texas CPA firm currently seeking a CPA to do contract work. Work can be performed remotely and on a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis in business and individual tax preparation, and experience reviewing work. Strong accounting / general ledger skills and QuickBooks knowledge required. Experience working with foreign national taxation is a plus. The position offers an opportunity for long term growth with our quickly growing firm. Candidate will work across the many facets of public accounting, including tax return preparation and planning, tax research, and consulting.
